Eligibility Criteria

Age: 30 – 65 years as of 17th June 2025
Must be an Indian citizen and permanent resident of the concerned area
Must own land or immovable property in the concerned area
Must not have more than two living children (self-affidavit required)
Should not be a government employee
Should not be affiliated with any political party
Educational Qualification: Passed 10th Standard (Matriculation)
Must be physically fit and mentally sound
Should not be insolvent or a defaulter on government dues
Must have respectable status and command in society

Fill the Assam Gazette Standard Application Form available online or at the DC office. Submit the completed application in person at the Office of the District Commissioner, Majuli before the deadline.

Permanent Resident Certificate
Educational Certificates, Mark sheets, HSLC Admit Card / Age proof
Government dues and Bakijai clearance certificate
Land/property ownership documents
